Title Research: Art of the Title Website

I was looking at the website The Art of the Title to study up on various title sequences. I was hoping to learn what makes a successful title sequence. I  was able to see many title sequences for the most popular movies and TV shows out there. I also read a great article about the top 10 title sequences of 2020. What I learned looking through the site was that some of the best title sequences are very dynamic and keep the viewer engaged, even before the movie or TV show starts. What I found most interesting is that most of these sequences used more artwork than images of the characters or scenes from a show. They also mostly had a limited color palette that kind of sets the vibe for the show or movie. The music was also a key factor in the sequences for getting you ready, or in a mood, for what you are about to watch. Many action movies use music that gasses you up before the action even starts.
